Returns and exchanges Products and servicesSunscreen is designed to protect the skin from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays emitted by the sun. Sunscreen helps prevent sunburn, skin damage, and helps reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Our sunscreen products include a variety of synthetic active ingredients such as Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate and Octocrylene as well as a mineral active ingredient Zinc Oxide. These active ingredients provide broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Active ingredients can be found in each product’s drug facts portion.
The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) you choose should be based on your skin type, the amount of sun exposure you expect, and your personal needs. Generally, SPF 30 is suitable for most people for daily use, while SPF 50 is recommended for extended outdoor activities.
If you have sensitive skin, we suggest patch testing on a portion of your skin before trying any new skincare products. Otherwise, our products include a variety of notable ingredients to help nourish the skin, we suggest BGS Kids SPF 50 Lotion and BGS Baby SPF 50 Lotion for sensitive skin types.
Yes, all of our sunscreen products are water resistant for 80 minutes. Always reapply after using a towel, prolonged water exposure, or every 80 minutes.
Our BGS Kids and BGS Baby lines are specially formulated to be safe and gentle for children’s skin, providing effective protection with soothing ingredients.
All of our lotion products can be directly rubbed onto the face. When using a spray product, we suggest spraying into your hand and gently patting it onto your face to avoid inhalation concerns. Please refer to the intended usage on the front of each product.
Oils like Jojoba, Avocado, Sunflower Seed, etc. are included for their nourishing properties with each providing different benefits to support skin health.
Reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more frequently if swimming, sweating, or towel-drying. Consistent reapplication ensures continued protection.
Currently we offer Make It Pop Shades SPF 50 Sungloss and BGS Baby SPF 50 that are mineral formulas. Make It Hybrid SPF 50 Lotion includes the mineral active, Zinc Oxide, along with synthetic active ingredients.
